Mosswood Park Aquaponics Program
This was our first public project started in 2009. We shut this down after 2 years due to lack of support from the mosswood neighbourhood committees and oakland park & rec’s. Apparently it was too guerrilla and we broke too many rules trying to drive our concept. And we did at first as we jumped the fence and installed a relatively large aquaponics growbed. So the power was disconnect we mounted solar panels. I thought i was going to teach the kids(k-k2, and k3-k5) there …. instead … it was rather fun learning from the kids – our curriculum structure comes from these mosswoods kids.
